JJ Latin Dancers' Studio! 2178 Broad St. Cranston RI 02905 (Click here for map & driving directions) JJ Latin Dancers' Studio is a ground breaking dance studio (1500 sq feet) open to everyone who just wants to learn how to dance NY Style Salsa and/or Bachata Moderna, and have a great time in the process. Our philosophy is to teach our students how to dance having as much fun as possible in an inviting and friendly atmosphere. The style of SalSa that is taught is “On 2”, known as the Eddie Torres Technique, and the style of Bachata is the modern style with the fancy foot work and turn patterns (Dominican Style). Note: Our classes are based on a Progressive 6 Weeks Cycle. A partner is not required to join. There is no dress code, however, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, such as dancing shoes or loose sneakers with little traction. Boots and slippers are very difficult to dance with. Note: Registration is now closed for the current (August-September) Cycle, our next cycle will start the week of September 20th!
